Step 5: Once you select the chart, this screen will appear. The important numbers to note on this screen are the Start, Expire, Auth Units, and Units Remain.
To calculate the units remaining in the budget, you first figure out the number of months left in the budget by looking at the expire date.
You then figure out the number of weeks left in the budget.
Divide the number of weeks left by the number of Units Remain.
This is the number of units remaining in the budget plan.
Then take this number and divide by 4 because there are four units to one hour.
This number is the number of hours allotted per week for this individual.
