Process for Completing Training
Once you have gone through this plan with the Behavior Consultant, the Behavior Consultant should have a competency quiz to test your knowledge on the plan. The Behavior Consultant will then upload it to the Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) online portal.
If you are unable to contact the Behavior Consultant after three attempts, via phone, text, or email, or a Behavior Consultant does not have a competency quiz prepared for you at the end of the training, you may complete the Behavior Support Training Form accessible in Accel, under Forms to complete this training.
A Behavior Support Plan Training must be completed annually for each individual that has a Behavior Consultant. Your compliance list will show who requires a Behavior Support Plan Training.
