The first interaction with the individuals supported will consist of a Meet and Greet. The Meet and Greet is approximately 30 minutes, designed to determine if the Recreational Therapist and individual supported are a good match for one another. During the first Meet and Greet, the Recreational Therapist may be joined by the Director of Recreational Therapy. The Meet and Greet should be claimed in AccelTrax as time under the “consumer” “112 – Admin – Meet and Greet”. You will learn how to document in AccelTrax in a later course!

When setting up a caseload, the Director of Recreational Therapy will work to get you 40 hours of work a week (if desired). Any overtime work in a given work week must have prior approval from the Director of Recreational Therapy.
